I am so excited about a New Year. I always get this way. There is something about 12 months of unknowing. A clean slate. A fresh "Do-Over"

Do-Overs
Looking at this New Year with such great expectations. Putting the past so far behind me and focusing on God's promises, is the key to my happiness in the coming year. I love do-overs, new beginnings, fresh starts second chances. You get the picture. I want God to see that I am ready for the new. I am waiting for more blessings in the coming year. I am confident that I am His daughter and that He loves me dearly. If I held on to my past it would destroy this confidence that I have in God's Word and His future promises to  me. I know that God has an awesome plan for me. It's in the Bible-(Jeremiah 29:11-12) I know that God is true and can not lie-It's in the Bible(Numbers 23:19) God is trustworthy, forgiving, and He likes new things as well-"Because of the Lord's  great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning. (Lamentations 3:22-23 NIV)~He also says, "And I will give you a new heart-I will give you new and right desires, and put a new spirit within you. I will take out your stony hearts of sin and give you new hearts of love."(Ezekiel 36:26 TLB)
I know that I need  friendship with God. I desire to be the best that I can be for Him. How about you? What is your desire?
God tells us,"The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him."(Lamentations3:25 NIV)

Trust the Lord precious one-You will not be disappointed.

~Father, Place a desire in each one of our hearts to know you better.
In Jesus Name, Amen
