Glorious, Holy, Most Excellent Father God,
In the precious name of your son, The Lord Jesus Christ whose name is above all names, I come with a bowed heart, tender and full of thanksgiving, seeking you for my sisters in the spirit, as well as for myself. Thank you for giving us the gift of life today and another opportunity to serve and minister in your kingdom while we pursue your kingdom agenda.Thank you Gracious Lord for leading us into wilderness places in those seasons that we so desperately need to be there. In our wilderness experiences, we come to understand that you and you alone are the "I Am" God and against the backdrop of your Holiness we see those places and spaces within us that need clearing. You know us at the very core of our being, so we thank you for loving us so much that you would expose the things about us that displease you. Help us Lord to clear our hearts and minds before you today and confess that we at times have a critical tongue, judgmental attitude, disrespectful and unloving disposition towards our sisters both in and out of the faith.Convict our hearts Lord by the illumination of thy Holy Spirit when we befriend the world with our greedy, glutinous, selfish, unkind and uncharitable behaviors.Cause us to seek you daily in faith, believing that you are, knowing that according to your word you will reward any earnest desire we have to know you better.Help us Lord to clear away the clutter that keeps us from resting in you. Help us to truly be about kingdom work rather than the busy church work that has become so prevalent within the body of believers today. We pray for the full anointing power of your Holy Spirit to discern the spiritual warfare attacks that assault us including the little ones that nibble at us daily which we swat away like pesky gnats, not realizing how, even they have mounted against us, rendering us at times, ineffective for your service.Help us Lord to engage all weapons of warfare available to us by the power of your Holy Spirit. Help us to engage on behalf of our sisters and our families to undertake search and rescue missions, not missions of recovery. We want to see lost souls found rather than find them dead with no hope of resuscitation.Help us Lord, we need you.We pray for Christ's peace to rule in our spirits, that we may be peace in our homes, on our jobs and in our communities. We praise your Holy name Lord for your Magnificent Excellence and thank you for all things.
This prayer is prayed in the wonderful name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, trusting that it is in accordance with your will, Father.
Bless us Lord to be a blessing.
Amen
