Matthew 6:26
It is really cold here this morning. I bundled up and headed out the door to take this picture of birds eating in my back yard. There were ice cicles hanging off their little bird house-but that didn't stop them from enjoying their breakfast.
I had on so many layers of clothes, because I am not use to this kind of weather. Brrrr. It made me think about the God we serve when I saw this little guy eating.
Matthew 6:26-27 says,"Look at the birds of the air they do not sow-or-reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"(NIV)
We can learn alot about God through our feathery little friends. They sing and fly and seem to just enjoy life. I want to have an attitude like that. I know that must be why God had it written in His Word. For us to meditate on His goodness toward us, and all his creation. Why else would He have put it in the Bible. He wants us to trust Him and not to worry. Life will throw us some curve balls. Don't be afraid of them- learn from them. God has your back- like He has His little feathered friends of the air in freezing cold weather. Let go and trust God with all your daily stuff. He wants to help you on your journey.
God Bless You.

I am so excited about my life. God is so good.. I love to encourages others. I love to write. I love my gifts from God. I love speaking and sharing my faith. I am blessed with a wonderful husband who supports me with encouraging words. I have been blessed to have children-and now grand-children. I look around and see all of God's amazing gifts to me and feel so grateful. God is so wonderful, and I love Him so much. I hope as I share with others that they too will fall deeper in love with Him.
