Have you ever felt like a stranger in a strange land? Of course, we all have. Strangers are those divided by nature, society, or intellect. You can never be pretty enough, smart enough, or the right race. There is good news however to this whole thing we call life. Some will call life a game. Some will say that life is what you make of it. In this book, we will meet three women. These women are from different background, education, and religion. They are typical people living everyday lives. They come face to face with different problems, situations, and trials. They are just like you and I. In these three different stories, they feel as though they are strangers. They are strangers in society, in their homes, and in the workplace. In the workplace there is Lisa Oglesby. Lisa is a hard worker with great credentials with her job. She is one of the top executives on the board of the company called Castor and Ross. If anything needed to get done in the company, the CEO would ask for Lisa. Yes, she had that much pull! For twenty years she has worked very hard to get to where she is. She was also very good at what she did for the company. Being on the job for twenty years, Lisa saw a lot of people come and go from the company. They either got fired, or they simply couldn’t stand the job. So Lisa was used to seeing new faces. But there was something strange about the new crew that was just hired. They were the group that came in thinking they knew what they were talking about and didn’t. They also claimed to be Christian. Lisa was a Christian and she knew she was, but this group. They gave a whole different meaning to the word Christian

    The Shack

Creative, intriguing, gutsy and a thoroughly engaging tome, this remarkable novel addresses the age-old question of why/how a loving God can allow suffering and evil to exist in this world.

With careful biblical exegesis, meticulous research, thoughtful analysis with a well-rounded philosophical approach, Jonalyn Grace Fincher shows us the real soul of a woman and its inestimable worth as a unique reflection of God’s nature.

I was so thankful for the opportunity to read this book! It’s the story of God’s miraculous work in the lives of two incredible people: a multiply-disabled, musical savant and his lovingly dedicated mother.

This is a comprehensive book review of a book I found to be very helpful to me in checking my attitudes as well as helping me to develop stratigies for out maneuvering the bait traps.
